Our Mission

The people of Ferndale First United Methodist Church are called to share God's love as we minister with and to all persons, providing worship, nurture, fellowship, and service. Our welcome knows no boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, family configuration, and economic condition, physical or mental ability. We embrace and seek to preserve the beautiful, amazing diversity of God's creation. We cooperate in ministry with other local churches and groups of God's people as we participate in the worldwide mission of Christ.  2 Corinthians 5:18

The goal is to provide socialization, support and connection for parents and socialization and fun for toddlers, as well as inter-generational connection with “honorary grandparents” (we have many parents of infants/toddlers already in the congregation – and want to reach out to others in the community, as well as including our many seniors). Program to include a simple dinner and unstructured playtime for parents/toddlers, rocking chair time and floor time with “honorary grandparents”

Christmas Eve Services
On Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, we offer two worship services. Please join us for one or both.

FREE!!!  Community Dinners
The last Wednesday of each month is set aside as we typically find our funds short and bills long. We, therefore, are offering delicious 'home cooked' meals at no cost (no love offering or donations) to our church and community. Come and join us anytime between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM on December 17th.
